Treating Acne |

Acne Vulgarius, which is most commonly referred to simply as acne, is a skin disease that is caused by changes that take place in the skin structures where a hair follicle can be found (Pilosebaceous Units). While sever acne is inflammatory, acne can also manifest itself in noninflammatory forms as well. These lesions that form are most commonly referred to as pimples, spots or zits.
While acne is most common during adolescence (more than 85% of teenagers actually suffer from acne), it does frequently follow a person into their adult years. However, the good news is that acne does tend to diminish, and even disappear, once a person reaches their early twenties. This does not mean that you cannot suffer from acne throughout your thirties, forties and even beyond those years as well. The most commonly affected areas are a person's face and upper neck. However, acne can also appear on a person's chest, upper arms, back and shoulders as well. Besides the scarring that acne can leave behind, acne can also lead to lowered self-esteem. For this reason, early, aggressive treatment is necessary. This routine should consist of a bath, twice each day, using the following ingredients: 1.Four cups of Dead Sea Salt. The reason for using Dead Sea salt is that it contains naturally occurring minerals and chemicals that can replenish your body. It also has antiseptic properties. 2.Four cups of Epsom Salt. This is used because Epsom Salt is well known for expelling toxins from the human body. Once you have gathered together these ingredients, you will need to fill your bathtub with them and add some lukewarm water. Once your bathtub is full, you will want to soak yourself inside of it for between twenty to thirty minutes. If you do not thin that your eyes will be irritated by the salt, then it is a good idea to immerse your entire body in the water while holding your breath for as long as possible. After you are done with your bath, you should make sure to rinse yourself off with cool water. If, for some reason, you do not have access to a bathtub, you should mix three tablespoons of Dead Sea salt, three tablespoons of Epsom salts and one tablespoon of warm water together with a few drops of tea tree oil in a bowl. Make sure that this mixture is not too watery and then mix well. You can then simply lie down and apply this mixture to your face, neck or back for around twenty to thirty minutes. Within the twenty to thirty minutes that you use this mixture you will become very relaxed. This should encourage you to do this every day until your skin condition improves, which is important. Even better than this mixture though is swimming in the Dead Sea itself a couple of times each week. While this is not possible for everyone, you should know that when you use the aforementioned procedure on a consistent basis, you will quickly see a dramatic change with your acne problem. |
